Terms & Conditions

DESIGN

Our design service comprises design, product specification and visualisation. We can design to your own dimensions, from an architect’s plans or from our own on-site survey.

We can also re-design adjacent bedrooms and dressing rooms including building alterations to create a fully cohesive and considered space.

Once you are happy with your design and quotation, please check with your professional installer before placing your order that they are happy with all the products and designs shown. If they have any technical questions, we are happy to speak with them to provide any information.

Design visualisations are an approximation of your proposed bathroom and are not an exact representation of layout, products or finishes. For product images, dimensions and technical specification, please visit manufacturers’ own websites for the latest information.

We are not liable for design issues arising from on-site changes following our survey or variations from plans unless we are advised before ordering.

We retain the right to use all surveys and designs for promotional purposes but will never release any personal details of our clients.

We will specify the aesthetic fittings and finishes shown on your design. Technical and associated items required to enable installation such as wetroom formers, concealed cistern frames, floor tanking, up-stands, underfloor heating etc. will also be included.

Your installer will need to provide all required installation materials and fittings to complete the bathroom.

PRODUCTS

All images on our website are for general identification purposes only. Where images relating to specific finishes are not available from the manufacturer, we may show an alternate finish or associated image. For details of specific finishes, technical information and specifications, please see manufacturers’ websites or literature for the latest information.

On occasion the manufacturer may make small changes to the design of a product. Due to this, the item/items you receive may have small differences to the picture displayed on the website. The colour of goods may vary from their appearance on websites due to limitations of photography, browsers and displays.

Due to manufacturing processes, there are dimensional, form and finish tolerances associated with all products. For any works reliant upon such features (on-site templating, bespoke joinery / glass etc), please ensure you have the items to hand for reference rather than working from drawings.

Tiles are produced in batches which relate to the form, size and finish of the tiles. Please ensure you order sufficient tiles for your project in a single order so a single batch can be supplied. In case of ordering further tiles, we will request you identify the batch supplied from your packaging. In case of no remaining products being available or items being discontinued then the nearest match will be offered.

Always consult with your tiling professional before confirming order quantities or ask us to work out the exact number for you. We do not use general wastage allowances unless specifically for small format tiles or mosaics as this method is not always accurate. We will generally quote the number of tiles that we believe will be needed to achieve a considered, balanced layout with an additional number of spare tiles.

Please ensure your tiler is happy with the quantity supplied before starting to fix them to the walls.

TIMESCALES

While many products are available within a couple of days from UK stock, some may take 1-2 weeks for delivery. Others which are imported or manufactured to order can take around 8 weeks from your order date.

For brassware with special finishes which are made to order, we can supply built-in pieces in advance (shower valves etc.)  to enable 1st and 2nd fixing with the finished pieces to be installed at the end.

Please advise us if there are specific timescale requirements for deliveries prior to placing orders. We recommend you do not book your installer until you have received and checked all items.

CHARGES

Prices are listed on our website at RRP + VAT. We specialise in fully considered design and supply packages of high-quality products. We are not focused on high-volume, low quality products and therefore don’t list products on our website with discounts to attract the click and buy market. We provide individual quotations with our best package price based on the items required for your project.

We do our best to keep prices up to date but suppliers may change these at any time and we reserve the right to make amendments to take into account any errors, increases in our supplier's prices or the imposition of any taxes or duties.  Any price changes will be advised and agreed prior to accepting your order.

PAYMENTS

All clients are sent a detailed invoice for payment by BACS in full prior to ordering materials. We do not accept card payments at present so we can offer our best prices to our clients.

Orders are deemed to be accepted once an invoice has been issued and payment received.

DELIVERIES

We will hold all items in our stores ready for a single delivery to you unless you ask us to split your delivery for partial fulfilment. Local deliveries are provided by our own delivery service to ensure optimum care.

For items where we may use a third-party delivery service or drop-shipping direct from manufacturers or distributors, all products are the responsibility of the delivery provider once in their care. We cannot be held responsible for any delays the couriers or delivery companies experience.

Delivery timescales are given as estimates in good faith but cannot be taken as exact.

For palletised deliveries, the responsibility of disposing of delivery packaging materials, such as pallets lies with the customer.

All deliveries are presented at the closest accessible unloading point from our vehicles. We are unable to carry items through your home to any designated storage space.

RECEIVING ITEMS

When your order arrives, we recommend a visual inspection for any obvious damages, and to ensure that all products ordered are present.

We inspect the packaging of all items as we receive them into our warehouse. Any items which may appear to have been mis-handled can warrant our opening and top-down inspection (without removing any items) before we re-seal the box and arrange delivery to you.

Upon Receipt:

You are not expected to unpack and check every item before signing for the delivery, but we do ask that the following checks are made. A little time spent on receipt of goods can save you a lot of time later in case of issues.

- All items: Please check the correct items have been supplied by your driver as per the delivery note and product labels
- Brassware: Check boxes for damage / opening
- Furniture, Glass, Baths & Ceramics: Check any packaging for damage and open boxes to check finish / any apparent damage without unpacking
- Tiles: Check boxes externally for signs of breakages
- Any items with special or bespoke finishes: Please check all finishes are correct and are undamaged

If any items are damaged, then please do not accept them. Your driver will mark any such items on the ticket as damaged & not received and they will be returned to us for inspection.

Upon signing for receipt of goods, responsibility for care passes on to you and any risk for subsequent damage or loss is assumed by the purchaser. We are not responsible for any goods received or unpacked by anyone other than the purchaser, so please ensure that a responsible person is present to check and sign for the goods at the delivery address.

Within 48 Hours:

Please satisfy yourself that all items are complete and undamaged. We cannot accept returns for damages after this time. In rare cases of shortages or manufacturing faults discovered upon installation, please notify us of these as quickly as possible to minimise delay to your project.

RETURNS

All damaged goods, wherever possible, must be returned in their original packaging. If we have delivered you order then we will collect the items from you.

Any unwanted goods must be returned unused and undamaged in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery. We may not refund goods that cannot be resold or returned for refund due to use or damage to products or packaging. Please return all items back to us within seven days using a recorded and suitably insured delivery service if you are liable for their return. The right of return for unwanted goods, whether due to mis-ordering or changing your mind does not apply where goods are made or configured to order, bespoke, or personalised at your request.

For international buyers, we cannot be responsible for any return postage cost if the item is found to be faulty or damaged. In instances of international orders, product guarantees which depend on British manufacturing standards or assume the end user has a British Standard water system are not applicable.

No items can be returned if they have been installed in part or in full.

CANCELLATIONS

You have a right to cancel your order before dispatch or within 14 days after the date of delivery by either calling or emailing us, quoting your order reference number. We will refund you the cost of the unwanted item within 30 days.

This right of cancellation does not apply where Goods are made or configured to order, bespoke, or personalised at your request.

BOOKING INSTALLERS

We advise against booking any installers or engaging in preparatory work until full receipt and inspection of your goods, and will not be liable for any tradesperson costs, consequential loss or compensation in any way.

INSTALLATION

Please do not fit any damaged goods, as we will be unable to replace or refund damaged items which have been installed. If you find your goods are damaged, please get in touch with us and we'll do our best to help.

Your installer may need to undertake pre-installation investigations such as checking wall constructions, floor structures etc.

In order to maintain the design intent, your installer will need to pay attention to and take care with the design, products and installation processes. Any pipework or other adaptations to standard site practises as required to fulfil the design intent as provided can be communicated to your installer if required. Just give us a call.

With complete supply packages, we can offer a site-supervision service whereby we attend site to help set-out all fittings and provide guidance to assist in the sequencing and smooth installation of the bathroom. This is an advisory service and all responsibility for installing the bathroom as designed ultimately lies with your installer.
